Angard treated as third class workers, Manpower temps get 35 hour weeks every week in advance where Angard people have to accept scraps of shifts at late notice. You are lucky to get more than two shifts & you are on poverty money for the first 12 weeks. You aren't paid for your breaks (in first 12 weeks) and the work is 100% on your feet and backbreaking at times. Your unpaid break is the only thing that gives you strength to go on. Angard workers are treated terribly by Reed Global work co-ordinators. Angard people live in fear of falling out of favour as their hours get cut. It really is destitution work. Ver publicación enlazadaThe pay is good for the hour, the work is usually quite straight forward and the managing staff are mostly very kind to the employees. The working times are flexible to suit your needs. Shifts are booked once a text has been received that the person is needed. Fairly often it is a very short notice for shift availability which can cause issues for you, if for example you are not getting many shifts and all of a sudden there is a night shift and because of the short notice, you have not prepared your sleeping pattern so that you can work well during the night. Shift frequency is also varied so you can have periods where barely any work is available, so if you are looking for steady hours and income, this may not be the ideal place for you. Irregular shifts. Rude shift coordinators. Zero hour contracts. Only good if you are a student or retired. Racist managers and co-workers,being treated like an animal.Being cut off the phone line when trying to book for a shift by mean people and only called in when they are desperate.I have never ever worked for an organisation as bad as this,it totally ruined my self esteem and self confidence.I am treated like scum because of the colour of my skin and because I am woman,besides which I was sexually harassed and felt isolated,never again,am quitting.
